Targeted youth projects

Our RISE project helps disadvantaged young people, not in education, employment or training, learn how to save lives and gain new skills.

In 2014, 65% of RISE participants entered training or employment within 12 months. Now we’re rolling out RISE projects across the UK.

We want to reach out to people who wouldn’t normally have the chance to learn first aid.

Imagine how it would feel to save a life.

Come along to one of our Stick-it sessions, and we’ll show you how. If you’re between 14 and 25 years old we’ll teach you first aid. It’s fun and easy to learn, but could be the difference between life and death.

But that’s not all we can do for you.

RISE also gives you the chance to gain experience in volunteering roles, pass your knowledge onto other young people, and gain BTEC-accredited qualifications in peer education that will look great on your CV.

It’s an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, give something back to your community, and meet some inspirational people while you’re at it.

Through our targeted projects, we address specific areas of need, teaching first aid to traditionally hard to reach groups.
