Our volunteers

On hand where we’re needed most.

Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working with the NHS when lives are on the line. They all share the same commitment: to offer vital help, on the spot, when it’s most desperately needed.

They’re on hand to care for people at tens of thousands of festivals, sporting fixtures and community events every year. And behind the scenes, our Community First Responders play an equally important role, often arriving first on the scene at 999 calls, and providing life saving first aid in the minutes before an ambulance can arrive. We also work with the NHS to provide contracted ambulance transport services in the community, and our fleet of vehicles gives vital support to the statutory services in times of crisis.
